If you are concerned with RF, you probably already know that cell phones are concerning. Here is how to block cell phone radiation the best ways possible. And while you can’t block all of it if you use one, these tips will help.

Why Is This Important?

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) are everywhere. In fact, they’re in our bodies naturally. That’s where the problem is. Man Made electromagnetic fields are harmful. They come from many places such as your WiFi, your electric meter, appliances, and yes – even your cell phone.

These electromagnetic fields do harm to our bodies on a cellular level. According to Dr Northrup,

Science has shown a number of negative effects, including cell membrane damage, loss of calcium ions, and DNA damage. All of this damage on a cellular level has repercussions on your health. In fact, there is even a term for these symptoms—electrical sensitivity. More importantly, we are starting to see that long-term exposure to EMFs has been linked to significant diseases.

What Do the Experts Say?

While the U.S. Food and Drug Administration doesn’t see much harm in using cell phones, they do give some tips on what to do to lessen your exposure.

  • Reduce the amount of time spent using your cell phone.
  • Use speaker mode, headphones, or ear buds to place more distance between your head and the cell phone.
  • Avoid making calls when the signal is weak as this causes cell phones to boost RF transmission power.
  • Consider texting rather than talking – but don’t text while you are driving.

There are other ways you can help minimize some of the effects from EMFs, and negate the harm.

Choose the Right Cell Phone Case

There is a market for EMF cell phone cases. What these do is provide protection from electromagnetic fields. It won’t block them all, but every little bit helps.

Keep Your Distance

Try to not hold your cell phone up to your head whenever possible. Even your laptop and computer should be at least 10mm away from your body. Sometimes that’s difficult, but it does help.

Grounding

Grounding is where you detox from EMF exposure. It can be as simple as placing your feet on the ground to soak up the negatively charged ions from the earth. Of course, your feet should be bare. This is also called earthing.

Make Your Home a Sanctuary

Doing things like turning off your WiFi when you don’t need it is a start. Don’t sleep near your cell phone if possible. Add things like copper mesh to your meter, WiFi, and boosters.

Minimize the EMFs

These are just a few tips that help with how to block cell phone radiation, and some of the other EMFs you’re exposed to.
