The Growing Awareness of 5G Dangers: A Rising Public Concern As 5G technology continues to expand…
Do Anti-Radiation Phone Cases Work?
EMF blocking phones are quite popular for those who want to limit their exposure. But the biggest question remains, “Do anti-radiation phone cases work?” Here are a few answers from the experts on what you can expect from one of these cases.
Why the Need for an Anti-Radiation Case?
If you know about EMF radiation, then you know it can be detrimental to your health in a number of ways. In fact, one of the most conclusive and well-researched effects of electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation is damage to fertility. Numerous studies show that radiation from cell phones is detrimental to reproductive health.
It also can lead to erectile dysfunction, and a host of other problems.
What About Anti-Radiation Cases?
Some engineers came up with the idea of anti-radiation cases. What these are supposed to do is provide shielding technology to help you minimize some of the electromagnetic field radiation from your cell phone. And since a cell phone is usually in close proximity to your body, a common issue with EMF, it is important to protect yourself.
Do Anti-Radiation Phone Cases Work?
Herein lies the problem. According to some research, they not only do not work, but some may even lead to a higher level of radiation than not using one at all.
According to the Center 4 Research,
A study by the Corporate EME Research Laboratory and Motorola Florida Research Laboratories tested 9 different cell phone radiation shields. 5 of which claimed to block 99% of cell phone radiation. And the other 4 shields tested claimed to emit a reverse radiation that would cancel out the harmful radiation from cell phones. The study found that all of the radiation shields had no effect on the amount of radiofrequency radiation a cell phone user is exposed to from their phone.
So, Now What?
While it’s unsure if anti-radiation phone cases really work, there are some things you can do to help minimize EMF radiation from your phone.
- Did you know that areas with poor reception cause more EMF? This is because the phone tries to make up for the bad signal by emitting more radiation. Try to avoid areas with bad reception – as if we all don’t want to avoid that anyway.
- Using your phone’s speaker or hands-free mode is a way of keeping your phone further away from your body.
- Don’t tell your teenagers, but fewer and shorter calls are another way to limit exposure.
