EMF Radiation from Computers
Many of us work around computers and spend hours at the screen and even if our job doesn’t involve a PC, Mac, or laptop but we still often spend hours staring at the screen. Whether it’s gaming or social media but what about the risks? Here is more on EMF radiation from computers and what you need to know to protect yourself from exposure.
EMF Radiation from Computers
Computer radiation comprises various types of electromagnetic frequencies. When you’re in front of a computer screen, you are being hit by many different types of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). Computers emit both VLF (Very Low Frequency) electromagnetic radiation and ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) electromagnetic radiation, as well as soft x-rays if using an old-style Cathode Ray Tube monitor.
There is also the problem with proximity. Like with any electronic device emitting electromagnetic radiation, the closer you are to it, the more you are exposed. And we sit fairly close to our computers. And laptops are often directly on our laps. Even while using a desk for your laptop, it’s still close to you when you use it. So, what can you do?
How to Eliminate Some of the Risks
There are surely a couple of things you can do to help eliminate some of the risks from computer EMF radiation. One is by using a spot-clearing device. These tiles are often made from shungite, and help defer some of the EMF radiation.
Likewise, you can use Another device called a space-clearing device. They work similarly to the spot-clearing device. Again they are often made of shungite. The difference is that these are a bit bigger than the spot-clearing device. They come in many shapes, like pyramids, balls, and cubes.
What Are the Dangers?
Various symptoms caused by EMF exposure include:
- Fatigue
- Dry eyes
- Skin rashes
- Eye floaters
- Headaches
- Blurred vision
- Lightheadedness
- Dehydration
Long-term computer EMF exposure has been linked to various cancers, birth defects, and miscarriages.
Above all try to limit your exposure to your PC, laptop, or Mac if possible.
